What is a Tele-Class?
A Tele-Class is a mentoring and support group conducted over the telephone. You'll be hearing experts in their field speak on subjects of interest to you --legalities of divorce, joint and sole (soul) parenting, custody, time management, stress reduction, parenting a teenager, dating do's and don'ts, tips for parents by choice or by loss, financial management and more!
Classes are taught by experts in their fields (psychology, legal, financial, coaches, mediators); tele-classes and tele-support groups are facilitated by Jodi Seidler, single parenting expert and creator of www.makinglemonade.com.
OVER THE PHONE, you will be learning, sharing and meeting with 29 other single parents in this series of Single Parent Tele-Classes (and the first one is FR*EE).
You'll even receive the "How to Create Single Parent Groups" ebooklet and special reports from experts leading the classes!

You’ll meet people that understand your situation because they are on the same parenting path; some are NEW single parents (I call them Virgins) and some are seasoned (the Veterans)…. AND, we all learn from each other!

This special telesupport group will be meeting via a bridge line, once a week for an hour. You will be encouraged, supported and educated in a facilitated single parent support group. As a SPECIAL BONUS, once you sign up, you will also be sent the emails of other single parents in your area. This is in addition to having your very own single parent support group once a week for a month on the phone.
Once you've signed up and payment for the month is received, you will be sent a confirmation along with the telephone number of the bridge line and a brief summary on teleconferencing etiquette. You will also incur an ordinary long-distance charge (from $3.00-$5.00, depending upon your calling plan), and payable to your long distance carrier. Because I understand the juggling act of being a single parent, these support groups will be formed during times of the day or night when you are typically "off-duty" with your children. You will have your choice of either a day-time group or a night-time group.
This weekly tele-support group will explore the areas of :
- Navigating the day-to-day challenges of life as a single parent
- Understanding and improving children's emotional health
- Managing the single-parent household
- Balancing work and family
- Handling difficult day-to-day emotions, i.e. stress, fatigue, anger
- Finding or creating a support network
- Bringing dating
into your single parent lifestyle
